After nearly a year, Narwhal rises from the dark depths of our cellar, transformed with notes of oak, vanilla, and coconut layered onto the Stout's malt flavors of dark chocolate and espresso. Awesomely Awesome Beer
One of my top ten beers. Considering the thousands I’ve had that is quite a compliment! My one and only major complaint is that it is next to impossible to find in the Idaho panhandle. I have only found it once at the Unchained tap-house in Coeur d’Alene. Narwhal barrel aged stout is one of the reasons I have to make a trip back to California every few months.

Dense and cocoa-y, a delicious winter ale. Barrel aging puts a nice finish on the Narwhal. Excellent!

Pure Bliss!
Amazing barrel-aged Narwhal Imperial Stout. Notes of Dark chocolate, espresso and bourbon. I pick up slight hints of black cherry in the aroma. Brilliant Brew! Be sure to let it warm up slightly.
